Erin and Justin met February, 2009. A friendship formed which grew into love. They currently live downtown Charleston with their three cats, Bonnie, Clyde and Talulah.
Coordinator of the City Gallery, and Curator of the acclaimed Contemporary Charleston exhibitions, Erin Glaze was raised in England, Germany and throughout the United States, with deep roots in Charleston. Erin graduated from the College of Charleston, receiving a BA in Arts Management and a Minor in Art History. She has assisted Ellen Dressler Moryl, Director of the City of Charleston’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in directing the programming of the City Gallery at Waterfront Park since 2007. Current projects include curating Contemporary Charleston 2011: Under the Radar in conjunction with Charleston magazine and the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. Erin is engaged to the coolest guy around who makes her heart skip a beat.
After a childhood of acting school and First Alto Saxophone in New York’s All City Band, Brooklyn born Independent filmmaker Justin Nathanson completed his directorial feature film debut at 19 years old while studying film at New York’s School of Visual Arts. Since then Justin, independently and with the cut company, led Production and Post Production on many feature films, tv shows, short films, and commercials. A few career highlights include Post on E!’s Howard Stern Show, and a Sundance Festival winning HBO American Undercover Documentary, among several other shows of note, as Producer, Director and Editor. Recently Justin began shooting professional photographs, working for-hire as a photo journalist. His fine art photo/video exhibit “You Are Safe” premiered during Spoleto 2011 with 2 other artists. Justin is engaged to his love, who doesn’t mind the continually recording camera(s).
